Best Walking Treks in UK
I have been trekking in the UK for more than 10 years and I always wished to create a blog to share my experiences and the beautiful walking and cycling routes I personally traveled so that others can benefit from these. I am listing below the names of the treks along with their Post Codes and some pictures and videos I have taken during the visits.
DERWENTWATER WALK
It’s a beautiful scenic 10 miles walk. There is a car park available at the starting point and the post code is CA12 5DJ and toilet facilities are also available. The walk passes through woodland and along the shores of lake. There are picnic spots and cafe available on the route.
ROBIN HOOD’S BAY WALK
It’s a beautiful coastal walk starting from Robin Hood’s Bay to Whitby for around 4 miles one way. There is a car park available at the starting point and the post code is YO22 4QN and toilet facilities are also available. After parking car, face towards the beach from car park and then turn left on main road’s footpath. Follow the road until you see a Post Office on your right hand side. After crossing the Post Office turn right and after few yards at the end of the road follow the Cleveland Way signs to complete this walk.
MACCLEFIELD FOREST WALK
Macclesfield Forest is situated in the beautiful scenic valley of Macclesfield. There are so many walking treks for all age of visitors. There are short as well as long walking routes. There are a lot of car parking available near the starting point but the main Car Park is Trentabank Car Park which is also the main starting point for all routes. There is a visiting center and the good toilet facilities. Post Code of the Trentabak Car Park is SK11 0NE.
FLAMBOROUGH HEAD CIRCULAR WALK
It’s beautiful circular coastal walk for 8 miles. There is a car park available at the starting point and the post code is YO22 4AR and toilet facilities are also available. After parking car, you can start your walk either right side or on your left side. The views on both sides are so beautiful. There are lot of benches available to relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
